Often-times I just look out of the window to seek the
familiar colours of yesterday, and if I'm lucky enough would still hear the
echoes of laughter I lost a long time ago. The memories brought by the shadows
and the different hues in the trees would evoke the warmth of ancient
embraces...a naughty smile...a murmur. Just as I get ready to paint in mind the
faces of my loved ones, a li'l bird sings hauntingly. I just close my eyes and
imagine a happy reunion scene. My soul is at peace again. I am now ready for
2012.
The act of creating a memorial for one who has passed away is an act of spirituality. A memorial tells the world that Marco may be gone, but his spirit lives on. A memorial makes a statement that Marco will forever be tied together in the circle of life. A memorial is a statement that Marco's life mattered & continues to matter. The acts of goodness & courage will never be forgotten. A memorial is a way to remember a loved one forever.
