John Travolta in Therapy Over Son's Death...

Travoltas
John Travolta is still grieving over the death of his son, Jett, and has turned to daily therapy sessions to help him cope with the harsh reality of his son’s passing.
The “Pulp Fiction’ star’s” eldest child died after suffering a seizure during a holiday in the Bahamas in January. Since then, he’s been undergoing religious counselling with his family to help them work through the tragedy.
John, 55, and wife Kelly Preston, 47,  follow the controversial cult-religion, Scientology. Some critics blamed the church for contributing to Jett’s death because it does not acknowledge mental illnesses such as autism in its teachings and is against the use of drugs to treat such conditions.
But the Travolta’s have remained close to the church. ”We’ve been working very hard every day as a family to heal. We have our own way of doing it, and it has been helping.”
“The outpouring of love from, really, worldwide has been extraordinary. It’s been our friends, our family, our church,” Kelly said.
“We partake in spiritual counselling pretty much daily.”
John and Kelly also have nine-year-old daughter Ella, and have been avoiding the spotlight since Jett’s death, turning to friends for support.
“It’s a tricky thing. Sometimes, something that’s right for the moment is not right the next day,” said Kelly.
“Being with people who are important to you, being with people that you love, I think that’s what has primarily helped us the most. Sometimes, being alone, too.”
The Travoltas returned to the red carpet last night for the first time since the death of  their son. The actor and Kelly turned out for the LA premiere of “Old Dogs.”  Daughter Ella makes her big-screen debut in the film.
The actor was forced to go through a brutal trial in January, reliving the tragedy, over an alleged attempt to extort money from him to hide details surrounding Jett’s death.
