Elephants...

A regular occurrence at the Mfuwe Lodge in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia where the lodge was unwittingly built on the elephants' traditional path through to some wild mango trees on the property.

The herd of a dozen or so elephants walk through the lodge's reception area at least twice a day for about 4 weeks and then sporadically for about another 3 weeks to feed on the trees.

No incidents reported to date!

Peacock in full flight...

Have you ever seen a peacock in full flight?
This is our first opportunity for experiencing this.
We never imagined that it could be so magnificent -- like a phoenix in a fairy tale!!

Professor...

If you don't know GOD, don't make stupid remarks!!!!!!

A United States Marine was taking some college courses Between assignments.

He had completed 20 missions in Iraq
And Afghanistan ..

One of the courses had a professor who
Was an avowed atheist, and a member of the ACLU.
One day the professor shocked the class when he came in.
He looked to the ceiling and flatly stated,

"GOD, if you are real, then
I want you to knock me off this platform…

I'll give you exactly 15 min."

The lecture room fell silent.

You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes
Went by and the professor proclaimed,

"Here I am GOD, I'm still waiting."

It got down to the last couple of minutes

when the Marine got Out of his chair,
went up to the professor,
and then hit him;
Knocking him off the platform.
The professor was out cold.

The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently. The other students were shocked and stunned, and sat there Looking on in silence.

The professor eventually came to,
Noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine and asked,
"What in the world is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"
The Marine calmly replied,
"GOD was too busy today protecting
Soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid
Stuff and act like an idiot. So He sent me."

The classroom erupted in cheers!

Julie Andrews - Brilliant...

Julie Andrews Turns 70 , this is brilliant!
To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at
Manhattan bsp;'s Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP.

One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favourite Things' from the legendary
movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used:

> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >
(Sing It!) -
If you sing it, its especially hysterical!!!

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting,
Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings,
Bundles of magazines tied up in string,
These are a few of my favourite things.

Cadillac's and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses,
Polident and Fixodent and false teeth in glasses,
Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with swings,
These are a few of my favourite things.

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak,
When the knees go bad,

I simply remember my favourite things,
And then I don't feel so bad.

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions,
No spicy hot food or food cooked with onions,
Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring,
These are a few of my favourite things...

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin',
Thin bones and fractures and hair that is thinnin',
And we won't mention our short shrunken frames,
When we remember our favourite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break,
When the eyes grow dim,
Then I remember the great life I've had,
And then I don't feel so bad.

(Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd
that lasted over four minutes and repeated encores. Please
share Ms. Andrews' clever wit and humour with others who
would appreciate it)
